The Red Nose Day campaign was dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh. Dale Gonzalez, Kim Muller, Beth Dirren, Christine Brunson and Karina Haught wore red noses as a symbol of support for the fundraising event. Individuals could donate money, take funny pictures, and add noses to any picture. The campaign culminated with a three-hour TV fundraising special, adding to the awareness of the causes the donations would be helping.
