« TITLE TALK / Pinetop and Show Low Branches Volunteer at McNary Elementary for Old School Project

Our Pinetop and Show Low branches have teamed up to volunteer together at McNary Elementary! As part of their Old School project, these branches will be helping out throughout the school year by reading with students, facilitating art projects and assisting teachers with special needs children. When it came time to decide how the Pinetop and Show Low branches would give back for their Old School project, Erin Drury, former assistant escrow officer at the Pinetop branch, reached out to McNary Elementary where her mother in a 2nd grade teacher to see how they could help! The teachers at McNary Elementary all have different needs, which gives our Pinetop and Show Low branches ample opportunities to help out! In addition to volunteering with students and assisting teachers, 14 of 16 employees donated their “seed” money to offer the school $1,400 for new playground equipment. “I have been so touched by the needs of the students and teachers,” said Wendy Brown, business development representative for Pioneer’s Pinetop and Show Low offices. “Being able to serve these children gives us a chance to give back and hopefully make a difference in their lives.” Pioneer Title Agency’s Pinetop and Show Low offices plan to continue their joined volunteer efforts at McNary Elementary throughout the rest of the school year, with each employee volunteering at least 5 times before school lets out at the end of May.
