« TITLE TALK / Governor Ducey Signs Executive Order Establishing Virtual Notary Services

Doug Ducey and Katie Hobbs issue an Executive Order: On April 8, 2020, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and Governor Doug Ducey issued an Executive Order allowing Arizonans to get documents notarized remotely while ensuring secure and effective verification processes. This will lead to broader adoption of RON in Arizona! To help keep our communities, team members, customers, and families healthy, the need for social distancing becomes extremely important. This Executive Order is the perfect answer to what our communities currently need, as it will allow signers and notaries to meet virtually, compared to in person. Arizona Notaries will be able to perform remote online notarization starting April 10, 2020. Governor Doug Ducey explained, “We are taking proactive measures to protect public health while ensuring Arizona can still take care of their essential needs. This order allows key components of business for bankers, real estate agents, legal companies, health care professionals, and much more to carry on during the COVID-19 outbreak in a safe and secure way that protects public health.” Pioneer Title Agency is Ready! Pioneer Title Agency is ready for Remote Online Notarization. We have been preparing for this opportunity and have many in-house team members able to take online signings. By having on staff Arizona notaries, we will offer online signings at no additional cost to you if you can sign between 5:00 am and 7:00 pm. If that time is not convenient for you, after hour signings are also available. Contact your Pioneer team member for details. If you are interested in using Remote Online Notarization for your signing, please reach out to your Escrow Officer. For more information on RON and how it works, click here.
