Junior IT Technician

This position works to assist the IT Directors.  You will provide support for numerous offices around the state.

Typical duties of the position may include:

  • Taking calls and generating and managing tickets from our Service Desk call center.
  • Remote and local troubleshooting of computer, computer hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Building, repairing and maintaining desktop PCs.
  • Assisting with deployments and upgrades.
  • Traveling to offices within Arizona as needed to replace equipment.

The Junior IT Technician answers directly to the IT Directors and you will be a key team player, with plenty of room for growth and technical development.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly self-motivated, takes initiative and able to work independently.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Multi-task efficiently and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate and gather information on a user level.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in a helpdesk/call environment.
  • Experience providing desktop support to end users.
  • Knowledgeable with installations, setup, and updates of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10 specifically), Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic networking understanding and troubleshooting skills of concepts such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, and VMware is a plus.
  • Valid Arizona drivers license and a clean driving record.
