Pioneer Title Agency has announced the opening of its first branch in the city of Maricopa, which is located at 21596 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite 101. This marks the family owned business’ second location in Pinal County, joining a Florence branch that was opened in 2015. To celebrate the opening, the local team is hosting a free grand opening celebration on Friday, June 29 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring food and drink – including a wine tasting, catering from the nearby Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, and locally made desserts – as well as live entertainment and other surprises. “We are focused on not only providing title insurance, escrow, trustee sales and builder-related trust services across Maricopa, but also being good community volunteers and a voice for both business and economic development for the county,” said branch manager Stacey Cyr, a long-time Maricopa resident, real estate veteran and local business advocate. She is currently working to help launch the county’s first-ever Business Networking International (BNI) chapter in the coming months, where she will also volunteer her time as its secretary-treasurer. According to Cyr, in addition to the food and entertainment, they also plan to have a massive ribbon on-site and are asking local members of the community to join them in signing it and for a ribbon cutting to commemorate the date and commitment to the region. “We plan to frame the ribbon and then display it in our branch for years to come,” says Cyr. Cyr brings nearly 15 years of experience – all in Maricopa – to Pioneer and will be responsible for managing escrow associates, completing real estate escrow transactions, clearing titles, disbursing funds and preparing, reviewing and closing documents. Most recently, Cyr worked at Empire West in Maricopa. In addition to Cyr, Matthew Sheldon has also joined Pioneer’s Maricopa branch in a leadership role as its business development marketing representative. Sheldon has been working in real estate for more than 10 years, including with D.R. Horton and in real estate investment. Cyr’s son, Damian, has also joined the branch in an administrative role, and they plan to expand further before year’s end. Within the community, Cyr is dedicated to launching BNI as well as developing a partnership between the new branch and Pet Social Worker in Maricopa to host yappy hours and other fundraising events, as well as with Save the Ta-Ta’s, already planning a series of activities in line with the organization in October.
