Take a Hike!

It’s no secret we love Arizona – and today, we look back on the community initiative that allowed us to explore the 800 plus miles of the Arizona Trail.

Back in 2015, we shared the 30th anniversary with the Arizona Trail Association. To celebrate, we committed to raising $30,000 for the Arizona Trail Association and getting all our team members to take a hike!

We were excited to be the first to use the trail as a fundraising and employee wellness opportunity! Keith shared about this initiative stating, “the initiative is two-fold. While raising money for the Arizona Trail is important, we also want to raise awareness of all the trail offers. It’s a unique giant playground for us all to enjoy, and we want to spread the word.”

At the time, we had 50 offices and our team was just over 375 people. Together, we hiked, biked, ran, or rode all 43 passages for the Arizona Trail! The trail is a continuous pathway from the Mexican border to the Utah border.

Our team members set personal goals and had a blast exploring the trail. Marcia Brown had a goal to hike 100 miles! In many areas, other members of the community joined in on the fun. “It was incredible to share part of our company efforts with the local leaders in Flagstaff. We are so grateful for the support of these leaders as well as our partner, Alliance Bank,” said Pioneer Title Agency President Keith Newlon. “Knowing that we hit our $30,000 goal to help the Arizona Trail made this an even bigger celebration.”

Cindy Newlon shared her thoughts on the initiative stating, “It seems very fitting that Pioneer Title Agency, being a local Arizona company with such a wide reach across the state, become involved with something as special as the Arizona Trail.” The co-founder continued, “Arizona is a place where we live and raise our families, a place where we work and serve our local communities and also a place where we play. Getting out on the trail and connecting with people, our families and friends will be a wonderful, exciting, and memorable experience.”

We love being a part of this fantastic state and exploring its beauty! We encourage you to go outside and play today! Take time to explore this beautiful state!
