The Arizona Housing Fund is accepting voluntary donations as a new and unique solution to the homelessness crisis in Arizona. Pioneer Title and Yavapai Title have joined the cause!
When it comes time to close at Pioneer or Yavapai Title Agency, you’ll have an opportunity to donate $25 to the Arizona Housing Fund to help create affordable housing opportunities for the homeless in our community. Plus, we’ll match donations dollar-for-dollar up to the first $100,000.00 in donations, doubling its impact. Because we believe everyone deserves to have a place to call home.
The Issue We Face:
With housing costs on the rise and shortage of affordable housing available, the number of people facing homelessness in our area is at an all-time high.
Most low-income families spend over 50% of their income on rent.
A minimum wage worker must work 57 hours a week to afford a basic one-bedroom apartment in Maricopa County.
78% of extremely low-income households are severely cost-burdened by rent.
Homelessness in individuals and families has risen 149% since 2014.
