We couldn’t be happier to see how well received our School Philanthropy Initiative has been within the Pioneer community. Our Main branch in Sierra Vista just completed part of their Old School project by hosting a fundraising “cake walk” on Sept. 8 to help raise money for Huachuca City School. “Our branch, along with Pioneer Title as a whole, firmly believes that extra-curricular activities truly enrich the lives of students, which is why we couldn’t have been more excited to help raise money for Huachuca City School through our Old School project,” said Amber McQuerrey, title manager at Pioneer Title’s Main branch. “Our efforts will go towards funding the revival of the school’s sports fields and outdoor learning space.” This branch secured the donation of 22 cakes, which meant they had 22 cake walk rounds, all of which ended up selling out. The event also included a raffle. In total, they ended up raising more than $1,400. “The whole team was incredibly pleased with the results from the fundraiser,” added Amber. “So pleased in fact that we’re putting on another fundraiser for Huachuca City School—our Wreath and Gift Basket Silent Auction and Customer Appreciation Event that will take place on October 27th!” We can’t wait to hear more about this upcoming fundraiser! Great job, team!
