  Fourth of July is here! We are so excited to spend time with family and friends. We hope you are too! Across the state of Arizona our offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4th to celebrate Independence Day. We have been making note of all the fun places to experience the holiday. Peep our favorites below and we hope to see you there!

 

Chandler:

  • July 4thFireworks Spectacular: Head to Tumbleweed park from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. for a high energy celebration! The fireworks start at 9 p.m.
    • Where: Tumbleweed Park | 2250 S. McQueen Rd., Chandler, AZ 85286
    • When: 6:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.
Flagstaff:
  • July 4th Parade: Kick off the fun of the 4th at 9 a.m. The parade winds through down town Flagstaff. Be sure to bring your own chair and enjoy more than 100 floats, performers, and more!
    • Where: Downtown Flagstaff
    • When: 9:00 a.m.
  • Lights on the Lawn: Catch the Flagstaff Fireworks at this FREE event from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. There will be a beer garden, food vendors, kid’s activities, live entertainment, lawn games, fireworks (duh), and more! The fireworks will start around 8:30 pm.
    • Where: 2380 N. Oakmont Dr., Flagstaff, AZ 86004
    • When: 3:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.
Fountain Hills:
  • Fourth at the Fountain: This festive celebration kicks of at 5:00 p.m. and includes music, games, kids’ entertainment and LOTS of delicious food. The night ends with a majestic firework display over the lake.
    • Where: Fountain Park | 12925 N. Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills, AZ 85268
    • When: 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
Glendale:
  • Westgate Fireworks Fest: Celebrate Independence Day with two music stages, a water zone, and family fun. Westgate is home to more than 20 restaurants and offers a lively bar scene. The Firework Fest is free and open to the public. Fireworks start at 9:00 p.m.
    • Where: Westgate | 6770 N. Sunrise Blvd., Glendale, AZ 85205
    • When: 5:00 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.
Mesa: 
  • Arizona Celebration of Freedom: Head to the Mesa Convention Center for live entertainment, a beer garden, food, activity zones, cultural displays, and more! Fireworks start approximately 9:30 p.m.
    • Where: Mesa Convention Center | 263 N. Center St., Mesa, AZ 85201
    • When: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Payson:
  • July 4that Green Valley Park: Payson is giving you all the 4thof July fun in ONE location! Head to Green Valley Park from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The day starts with a Patriotic Ceremony to salute those who have helped make this country free. After that enjoy games, a foot race, tug-of-war, and other activates. From 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. there will be live music. Fireworks scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m.
    • Where: Green Valley Park | 1000 W. Country Club Dr., Payson, AZ 85541
    • When: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Phoenix:
  • Fabulous Phoenix Fourth: Experience one of the largest firework displays in the Southwest. This is a non-alcoholic, family-oriented event. Two stages will be featuring local entertainers. Vendors will be offering festival-style food and beverages. Other activities include a classic car display, rides and inflatables, a water zone, interactive exhibits, and MORE!
    • Where: Steele Indian School Park | 300 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012
    • 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • The Fourth of Zooly: Celebrate the 4that the Zoo! Come enjoy a classic BBQ and view the Tempe Town Lake firework show. The tickets are $35 – $45 and include a very special viewing of fireworks, animal guest appearances, a live DJ, free endangered species carousel rides and access to Stingray Bay from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
    • Where: Phoneix Zoo | 455 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008
    • When: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sedona:
  • Wet Fest: Looking for a way to spend the day before heading to your favorite firework show? Well this is it! Enjoy lunch, music, a swimming pool and water slide. The event is free (not including food) and opens at 12:00 p.m. Right outside the pool gate will be vendors for other food and fun!
    • Where: Sedona Community Pool | 570 Posse Ground Road, Sedona, AZ 86336
    • When: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Show Low:
  • Freedom Fest: It’s the annual Freedom Fest! This fun day kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with a parade. The parade will be along Deuce of Clubs. Then the fun heads over to Show Low High School. This includes food, live music, a kid’s zone, and more! The fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:00 p.m. Admission is free – but some activities and items do have a cost.

    • When: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sierra Vista:
  • Pets & People Promenade:Do you have a pet with a killer sense of style?! Then this fun and festive event is for you! Dress your pet and get ready to strut your stuff! The promenade begins at Ramada #3 at Veterans memorial Park at 7:00 a.m.
    • Where: Veterans’ Memorial Park, Ramada #3 | 3105 E. Fry Blvd., Sierra Vista, AZ 85635
    • When: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
  • Annual Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks: Looking for fireworks, music, chili, art and more?! Then head on over to Veterans Memorial Park from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    • Where: Veterans’ Memorial Park | 3105 E. Fry Blvd., Sierra Vista, AZ 85635
    • When: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Tempe:
  • July 4thTempe Town Lake Festival: Fireworks are shot from the Mill Avenue Bridge to light up Tempe Town Lake. This amazing firework show is choreographed to music.
    • Where: Tempe Beach Park | 620 N. Mill Ave., Tempe, AZ 85281
    • When: Gates Open 5:00 p.m.
  Queen Creek:
  • Hometown 4th: This fun event offers food trucks, live music, a beer garden, a national flag service, lawn games, fireworks, and LOTS more! Head over to Schnepf Farms from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Tickets for the event cost $20 – $45.
    • Where: Schnepf Farms | 24610 S. Rittenhouse Rd., Queen Creek, AZ 85142
    • When: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
